For the Welcoming Grandiose Lakehouse at Rock Creek on Lake Texoma, the owner’s guiding words to our architect, Roberth Jordan, were “grandiose” and “welcoming.” These words shaped every decision in its creation.

Situated in the Rock Creek community along the Texas side of Lake Texoma, the Welcoming Grandiose Lakehouse was designed for those who cherish entertaining and life by the water. The owners envisioned a space that would invite guests to stay for extended periods, a home where fishing trips could begin with a sunrise and end with a sunset on the patio. Roberth crafted the design around a unifying element: a grand back patio that seamlessly links every major room. This design ensures that the master suite, game room, living area, kitchen, and bar each open onto the patio, facilitating a natural flow between indoor and outdoor living.

Inside, the home speaks a refined language of its own. While the bar area adds a touch of vibrant flair, the rest of the interior, styled by Heather Shields, remains elegantly understated and balanced. Heather curated a color palette built on subtle contrasts, allowing the architecture to maintain its dominance and invite guests without overwhelming them. This collaboration has produced a residence capable of accommodating many guests without losing its serene and calm demeanor.
